Members of the Guyana Public Service Co-operative Credit Union Limited (GPSCCU) now have a new payment option as a result of a partnership inked with Grace Kennedy Remittances – Bill Express.
During a simple launch ceremony on Monday, the Finance Manager of the Credit Union, Nyozi Fraser, said that this new service promises to be hassle-free and accessible.
In fact, she noted that with fifty (50) Bill Express locations countrywide, members could transact their business with the Credit Union very efficiently.
“Whenever you go to transact your business, all you need to do is ensure you have your member number or is even better if you walk with a past receipt to ensure there is accuracy,” Fraser noted.
She added that once members use the service, at the end of the day, Grace Kenndy would transfer their information to the Union, and by the following day, their accounts will be updated.
“No need to join very long lines; you don’t need to take time off from work to come to the Credit Union to make your deposits.”
Meanwhile, Chief Executive Officer of GPSCCU, Adeola Griffith, disclosed that the Union continues to look for initiatives that will benefit its members.
“We are happy to get going. We are happy to get started because we know that our members can, at their convenience, go to Bill Express, make payments to their accounts and have their accounts updated,” the CEO posited.
The CEO explained that their first payment option was with Republic Bank Online, followed by Mobile Money Guyana (MMG) and now Grace Kennedy Remittances – Bill Express.
Meanwhile, Country Manager for Grace Kennedy Remittances – Bill Express, Troy Williams, noted that the partnership is more than just two companies partnering for business.
He stated that it signifies service, convenience, accessible to the Credit Union’s members.
